self-sufficiency through family counseling, self-esteem sessions, mentoring, literacy
program, expressions in the arts - arts learning, creative writing, music, and performing arts,

Need: HELP's
targeted area is in
Tulsa North where one of the most devastating riots occurred in the
1920's. And still today, the effects of the riot plagues the area where businesses,
families and communities were destroyed leaving sorrow, rejection and low self
image. We all need acceptance and some require guidance and opportunity.
Without these elements we are subjected to becoming products of low self esteem. Low
self esteem is projected in various behavior patterns from introversion or depression to
extreme attitude display. The impact of low
self esteem is that it prevents individuals from reaching their full potential and their
negative attitude progresses into harm to self and others.
We are dealing with a generation of misdirected humankind that are not in
touch with their potential. The negative
energy is channeled into low self esteem, disrespect of self and others, substance abuse,
numerous crimes, joblessness, and an uneducated society.
HELP excel
students in academics and computer technology through the enhancement of
participants potential and redirecting negative energies into focusing on positive
goals in students education, talents and skills.
Higher Esteem focuses on two primary objectives:
HELP
realizes the diversities in cultural experiences, education, talents, and creative skills
relate to the productivity in self-esteem as a person seeks to fulfill his/her potential.
The majority of the programs develop models for guidance into young
adults as they make the transition from adolescence to adulthood and all programs
emphasizes crime prevention and the counseling plus education departments will promote new
pilot programs to assist youth through difficult situations. There are mandatory
programs, Building Positive Self-Image and may require tutoring or counseling
in order for children/youth to participate in Recreational or Arts activity
programs.
HELP
includes mentoring - team time spent planning and achieving goals. The mentoring program
allows protégés to build strong alliances that will enhance professional growth and
promote learning partnerships.

The services provided by Higher Esteem Life Programs
- H.E.L.P. are accomplished through donations, volunteers and viewers like you that share
the vision of our project and financially contribute to help.
